Publishing data in map screens
Map screens can be configured to visualize point clouds, raster, vector and administrative datasets related to a geometry. Datasets derived from multiple data sources can be integrated in a combined map. In a map screen data can also be visualized by combining datasets available in GeolinQ with external WMS and WMTS services in map layers.
Map layers
A map screen can consist of multiple map layer types. The order of the map layers can be defined and layers can be active or not active in a map screen. The following map layer types can be configured in a map screen:
Map layer | Explanation | |
---|---|---|
Raster layer | Layer to visualise raster datasets or point clouds | |
Feature layer | Layer to visualiseren and edit feature datasets | |
WMS layer | Layer to visualise an external WMS service | |
WMTS layer | Layer to visualise an external WMTS service | |
Sketch layer | Layer to create sketches consisting of geometries and text |
In a raster layer multiple raster datasets can be combined using the same data type and color scale for visualization. End users is able to create profile of the datasets visualized in a graphic. In a feature layer multiple feature datasets of the same feature type can be visualized using SLD based styling. End-users are able to select geometries and visualise the atributes of the obejects using the featue info functionality. WMS and WMTS layers can be configured to integrate external WMS en WMTS including the styles, feature info en leganda made available in the OGC services. The sketch layer is an option were end-users can add there own geometries and text in a maplayer.
Publishing maps
Map screens are published via an application service. An application service can be customized to the style of the client organization. Publishing maps is done in a few clicks.
